Analyzing what I've been doing

I decided to look at what trades actually work for me.
Since September last year, I’ve traded options on about 20 stocks and 4 indices.


The blue line, on the graph above, is the profit & loss I got on each trade.

While I’ve had about a 50% win to loss on all my trades, my losses have usually been bigger than my wins. And you can see by the pink line, on the graph above, that my balance is just starting to recover from all those losses.

However, if I look at the trades I did on the Russell 2000 (RUT), I did much better. See graph below.



This is an index I feel very comfortable with. I have a better idea of how it moves.
On the RUT, I have about a 70% win to loss and my wins have been much bigger than my losses.

I had not suspected this. As I slowly get out of the various trades that I’m in, I think I will concentrate more on the RUT for a while.
